The Brightest Parts of my Day!

An unexpected but oh so welcome sweater from Parsley! What a surprise, girlfriend! I love it! Ren loves it! And he is sporting it around the room now. I didn't put his back legs through because he's quite grumpy right now. Otherwise he thinks it's nice and cozy!!!!!!

Thanks so much! He's walking in his usual circles......

Don't you just love trying to take a picture by yourself, like with your arm outstretched as far as you can while you juggle a dog in the other hand? Please ignore our kitchen, it's really not warped and our coats for the day are just hanging there with boxes to ship, etc. It's a lived-in house!
These were quite bright pics, I did my best by myself holding him.

oops, he is fixing to walk into the wall......

Now he looks like an alien. But anyway, I guess at least he won't see bright spots after this flash. LOL

I'm embarrassed to say I only got one more line of my ornie done last night. But it kinda describes the little feller! ;)

Got a new (old) book at one of the stores we stopped at yesterday. It's a nice Christmas mood book. I need to start early for the Christmas spirit.

I haven't started it yet. But it looks like a good book. I just haven't figured out how to read and stitch and get alot accomplished. I guess there's books on audio.....that's a thought.
So, Ren and I are getting ready for the Holidays a little early now. Started ornaments. A good Christmas book and a cute, cute sweater!
Sending restful thoughts this evening,
Jennifer

  2. Aww...he looks ready for the holidays. Looks like it fit. I wasn't sure about that.

Some dogs don't like the back leg straps so if it fits him and stays snug enough, just cut those off.

    Hugs to you both.

  4. There is nothing better than a lived in house, Jennifer. I think I'd feel right at home there. Love that sweater! Ren looks adorable in it! And I love your blog header. What gorgeous views you have in your neck of the woods.

And I know that you've been enticing me with Stacey Nash stash - I didn't take part in that $5.00 sale. I wish I had. Ann was making my mind scramble for a while and I didn't order anything. I think I'm going to have to rectify that! Happy stitching.

  5. Thanks again, Parsley.
Guess what? The little man was settled with his sweater on and wouldn't let me take it off. He loves it!!! We have noticed he is alot less anxious with either a Tshirt or a sweater on. So thanks so much. We love it too. This morning he was bundled up with his butt hanging out.

  6. Deb, you got me looking for scissor frogs now. When we went to Hawaisee at one of the antique marts, I was steady looking for one but didn't see one. I have my delft one which is working out well because I can actually get 2 pair of small scissors per hole.
