Sweet Bunny sampler

Sweet Bunny

designed by Feathers in the Nest
copyright 2011

When the birds start chirping on a bright sunny Spring day such as today, I get Bunny Fever.

I love Bunnies.

This morning as I sit and listen to wind chimes off my porch, drink my tea and become inspired with my sing-along bird friends here in the woods, I came up with this little ornie design to place by your favorite bunny!

I think bunnies are sweet.

Use your own colors of choice. I have not stitched this up yet but plan to use:

light green is CC Frozen Margarita
  DMC
435--very light brown
433 brown
648gray
224 light pink
223 medium pink
310 black
white

Would be very cute as an ornie in a wooden bowl with other Spring time fillers or by your bunny collection.

The bunny on the left was Brandon's, a Beatrix Potter, now 25 years old.
The bunny on the right, Meghan's, 23 years old now as they were bought right before each were born.
They reside on the guest bedroom bed, Hoppily!

Don't forget somebunny loves you just as you are!

Enjoy!

And the winner of the Brandon Homecoming Giveaway is.........

Vickie in Colorado!!!!!!! yep, Vickie, you got the pattern, threads and linen.

Email me at jennifer.dalenberg@yahoo.com for mailing info!

Congratulations!

I'm still working with the picture in the header issue right now. I have to laugh at this week and some of you will know exactly what I'm talking about but every day brings new surprises!
Life is full of surprises. And at this point, I honestly laugh so hard at most of them, my sides hurt.

Seems that Google Blogger automatically downloads all pics, yep, zaps all of them and stores them in Picasso picture holder, which in turn has reached it's max for this blog.......soooooooo
it is a solvable issue but may take a few days to iron out the kinks with pictures.
This may be a no-brainer for some folks but I...had a DUH moment learning this today! I take alot of pics, I think the max I reached was like 10,000 or more.......unreal but anyway, I will work on this more tomorrow.....

Isn't that what Scarlett said again??

Tomorrow is another day......wait.....it is tomorrow.....it's after midnight....ok, today then. :o

I did get some stitching time in tonight, the first since probably a week ago. I can't wait to get finished with this one so I can start a bunch I have lined up to stitch. The frame I ordered for This Too Shall Pass design should be here any day as their shipping is ultrafast so I best get the needle burning again.

It felt so good to be able to go exactly where I needed in an organized drawer to find my frame and materials.

Well off to bed,
Jennifer

I'm so dearly excited that I must share with you an order just for someone special who holds stitching dear to their soul as much as I have over the past years and especially through trying times this past year when my faith and spirits have been tested to the core.

I want to celebrate by giving. Giving something to a stitcher who knows how stitching mends souls. This give away includes the whole kit and kaboodle so you won't have to worry one bit at finding the threads or the special linen to finish it.

This give-away is appropriately named  Brandon's Homecoming Give-away.

Here it goes:

1/  please post here on this posting only if you are a follower of this blog. If you are not, you are welcome to join so I can get to know you better and connect with friends around the world.

2/ For a second chance, please post a second post if you have a blog that you have announced it or put on your blog to share the celebration!

3/ International accepted

4/ For a third chance, please post a third entry and put in your greetings to Brandon as if you were there when the bus rolls up and he and his unit are walking out to greet!  He will read these responses I'm sure so all encouragement is appreciated for a job well-done for our country.

5/ This starts today through midnight April 5th, Easter.  I will use the Computer Random Generator for name draw.

6/ A great big thanks to you for being supportive, for saying prayers, for listening to my ups and downs through the year and accepting me as I am. Also I love you all for your comments, constructive criticism that I sorely needed, and I so look forward to meeting more people around the world.

Remember the war is still ongoing and we should all be saying prayers for all NATO countries involved, who still have sons and daughters, spouses and good friends who are serving for the purpose of abolishing terrorism.

Back to Easter stitching this afternoon. The sun is shining outside and it's 74 degrees. Great for Easter stitching!
