Progress on Empty Nest
I'm almost done, but not quite. I will be done tomorrow hopefully and use the fabric in the background to make something of this design called Empty Nest by The Sampler Girl.
Thanks Gabi! I really liked the colors too. I looked today in some thrift shops for a dark oblong frame that may fit but be inexpensive but didn't find one. I may finish into a pillowkeep, I don't yet but will work on it tonight. Jennifer
I'm blushing Karyn at that compliment. Perfect? Wowza, I wish I was but anyway, thanks a million! One of my goals is to one day do 1 over 1 stitching a lot neater. I don't know what intimidates me about 1 over 1 but mine actually begin to look like French knots! LOL Jennifer
LOL...I wish I could do french nots! Your stitches are perfect, and I have every confidence in you and 1 over 1's :) Thanks for your sweet comment, friend. You are too cute :) Oh I should mention that my french knots, never stay knots for long, I have the bad habit of thinking "just one more lil pull," and whammo the knot pops thru the canvas....ROFL...I hate french knots :)
Comments are welcome at the homestead at any time! I appreciate your time out of your day to stop and say hello!! I hope you find some useful information and gentle inspiration for your day. Jennifer
Beautiful stitching. Looking forward to admire the finished piece. It will look lovely with your chosen backing fabric.
