A very unexpected letter today in the mail

When hubbie came home today he brought the mail in and I had this letter opened, thinking what in the world is from the Department of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Georgia.

I read this and was so impressed with the thoughtfulness and my heart was touched.
His doctors donated a monetary fund in memory of Ren to further the development of animal studies at the University.
There was a big Wow factor and then tears.
We miss him alot. He touched alot of lives and his memory will live on.
And because of his life, further research in Vet Medicine will be benefiting other animals.

  1. what a wonderful gesture from his dr's!

  2. You just never know when someone will pay it forward. How very touching.
    Be always in stitches.

  3. what a Really Nice gesture! Even tho it also brought tears, I know it warmed your heart(s). Hugs.

  4. What an amazing thing. Someone did something similar for us at the U of Penn when our dog Rupert passed on. It was a gesture I'll never forget.

  5. That is so sweet, what an awesome thing to do! Your Ren was so loved. His name will live on forever and will now help all dogs.
    Ma TK

  6. This is very touching and a great way to honor your faithful companion..

  7. What a wonderfully kind thing
for those doctors to do in
memory of sweet Ren! You just
never know. I would have been
    in tears, too.

  8. What a wonderful thing for them to do. I am sitting here in tears at their caring and thoughfulness and in sorrow for the loss of such a brave fighting spirit as Ren. He touched so many hearts.

  9. cool - our vet does that too for long time pet customers and did a donation when our beloved Cheyenne died. So hard to get over -it was 7 years last weekend...still miss her!

  10. How lovely! Such a beautiful gift.
