Completely Finished LHN Always and Forever

Had a change of heart!

Found this perfect navey textured cotton pillow and stuffed it, then blind stitched by hand the design on it.

Stitched a charm on it

And now it sits in my honey's chair.

  1. Oh WOW I love the way you finished this design. I stitched this one for us also. I may have to start thinking of ways to finish it.

    Take Care!

  3. Your stitching is lovely. How do you have so many finishes? I have such a difficult time finishing my projects. I am always so tired when I get home from work. I have Tea With Jane Austen that I want to get started on. Do you have any advice on how to finish the projects?

  7. Wow Jennifer - I love what you did with that piece - so much better than framing! It's always good to see different alternatives to framing which can be sooo expensive!

  8. The pillow is beautiful, Jennifer. I need to start doing some pillows and less smalls with my finishes.
Love the spools you found on your "Thrifty Thursday" trip.
    Take Care.

    Happy Stitching ... Sandy

  9. Very pretty! I have this chart also, and I have been trying to decide what color to use. I love how you made it into a pillow. Very nice finish!

  12. Wow, super stitcher gone wild! You are a fast stitcher, and more impressive is that you finish your pieces! :)

I have a cute little pile of my finished pieces just sitting patiently in a drawer. I really need to get on the stick and get them finished so I can enjoy them. I have 2 daughters, aged 31 and 25 and neither of them like cross stitched pieces and have told me when I pass on from this life, it's to Goodwill they go! Sad day!

  14. Carol, that is so sad but I can relate and I actually have it in my will that all stitching pieces go to a local battered women's shelter. I don't think my kids would have the appreciation of the value of such pieces.
