Midnight Progress

one more word and then it's color time again! Almost to the end. And I even have a frame that will be most suitable for it. Ordered it today. An old, slightly imperfected dark, thick wood frame.
The stimulus to finish this tomorrow and Tuesday to add to the wall in my home that I will dedicate to samplers.

  1. It looks great Jennifer. You've been one busy person lately!!! How's the hubs doing? Recovering from his surgery well?

  2. He is doing great, back to work, 1st day, today.
He did very, very well after this surgery. I know 12 years ago, he had a similar surgery and it was a long recovery but I guess surgical techniques have changed for the better.
Yes, I try to keep my mind busy and stitching and counting threads keeps me from thinking about other stuff.

  3. I really am liking the colors in this piece. I'll be watching to see it framed and can't wait to see your planned sampler wall. Will it be strictly a wall of Tanya's patterns?

  4. I have been leaning towards making a spare bedroom (the one with the shabby roses in it) also a stitching corner. It's a big bedroom that no one ever really sees but since it's so big I think I'm going to take one of the walls and just put samplers on it.
It would be all kinds or either just Jane Austen pieces.....haven't decided yet.
But the room would be the perfect one for that sort of thing.
