Miss Abbie and her new found toy

Her eyes look green and I couldn't remove it in my picture folder.......but maybe that's the reason she is shredding her paper lately.........I couldn't resist getting her picture today while she was totally giddy with a pair of men's tube socks all in a ball there. She played with them longer than her chew toys. They were the pair that Body Guard took off last night......I will digress........

either way, she says, socks are a cool thing! It's way better than her tearing up potty paper to shreds due to separation anxiety.
Her hair is resembling a lamb at this point! A lamb with a lion personality.......too funny.

  1. Funny! Our chi-s like to play with our dirty socks too. They'll try to take them off our feet.

  2. hey, how do you keep them from shredding paper? Is there something you can spray on it that is not harmful to them but will deterr them?

  3. Bitter apple spray might work. It is not toxic but tastes sour to the dog. You can find it at a pet store like Petsmart or Petco.

Ours never tore them up though.

  6. She DOES look fuzzy! But adorable! My daughter's first dog, Thor, a toy poodle, LOVES her Daddy's smelly socks, even still, and he is 4 years old... Must be something that only dogs understand, cause I sure don't!

    Hugs.

Nothing like socks on your feet with wet toes. LOL

  8. She is just too cute. She reminds me of my kids when they were little - you could buy them all kinds of toys, but what do they play with - the boxes!

  9. She's adorable, I have been following her since you brought her home. After saying I won't get any more dogs(we have 2 now) I have went and got a puppy. Well, I get to bring her home Christmas Eve . She's a little chihuahua. I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway little Abby is so cute. I enjoy reading about her.

  10. Abbie is just so adorable! Our almost 2yr. old rottie Nicole has to have a worn sock every night before bed. She will stand there and stare at you until you give her one.
