Bluebird Glee sampler

Bluebird Glee
designed by Feathers in the Nest
copyright 2011

I'm still poking along with my ultra slow computer, hoping to get this fixed soon. In the meantime, I want to share a sampler I designed tonight after being welcomed home by a bluebird in my backyard. I honestly haven't really seen as many bluebirds as I have this year since we have lived here!
Inspiration led to this quick one if you are looking for something to stitch this weekend and love old porches, birds, or anything cheerful.

I think Bluebirds really do bring a moment of happiness to the day no matter what is behind or before us, one Bluebird moment is a blessing to count for sure.

Linen, count of choice
overdyed's of choice for threads

Stitch up a little bluebird and send it to a friend. You will be sharing a load of happiness and love along the way!

Enjoy!

  1. Thank-you for another wonderful pattern Jennifer. I am having so much fun stitching your designs. They are bringing me alot of joy and definitely make my heart smile. I love bluebirds. I don't see many in my neck of the woods here in Ca. but we do have our share of beautiful birds and they bring such joy to our backyard. We have many nests with lots of babies and I love to watch the mommy birds at work. Hope you have a restful weekend. Give Abbie a pat and here is a hug for you too :)

  5. Thank you Jennifer! I do so enjoy all the patterns you make. I don't see Bluebirds here in Wisconsin, so I will doubly enjoy stitching this. Bluebirds really make me smile when I see them. My Mom used to do ceramics and she made me a small bluebird one year all in chalks and it's always out in my living room.

  7. Jennifer: Thanks for stopping by my blog, theoldefarmhouse.blogspot.com and leaving a sweet comment. I also love your blog, it is so bright and friendly and someday maybe I can stitch one of your designs. It would be an honor and I love the bluebird one. Also love your little "furbaby" Miss Abigail! Thanks and come again! Hugs, Joy
