Ya'll are My Happy Place!

Thank you for the encouragement and the dishcloth patterns. I appreciate the so  much more than you know and so glad to connect here in the blog with happy folks. I can't say that for all chat rooms.......I will digress.
I woke up this morning and I have tried to ignore a very painful right hand injury but I think I'm going to get it checked out today.
2 nights ago I was trying to open a very hard jar and felt something pop in my right hand and deep burning pain. A knot is now there. I can't hardly type. I think I may have ruptured a tendon in the top of my hand.
It certainly slowed down any knitting last night.
I have to take meds to just lift dishes now. So I think if it's worse by day 3, its time to get it looked at.
I hate going to doctors. I put it off as long as I can.

But I just wanted to let you all know how thankful for the network of stitchers and readers that put a smile on my face every day. YOU ROCK!

  1. Ouch...it definitely sounds painful and worth getting checked out. Your knitting is coming along wonderfully. Your tension is just perfect.

  2. I love the scarf, and the countrylife too..My family has a home in the country and when it's time to do the Olive oil We meet all together and we go in the field to pick up olives..That's a beautiful time...I love it so much..

  3. OH, friend! So sorry to hear that you injured your hand. No fun for a stitcher and a knitter, much less just getting chores done. Praying that it will be healed soon!

  5. I do hope that you get that hand checked out. You could indeed have done something to a tendon as you said, but you could have also broken a bone.
