Scarves, Snow, Sipping, and Stitching

Before I ran some errands, I got this far on the scarf I'm making.
I'm glad it's stitching up fast!  I've got cross stitching in the frames on the ready.

And when I left at midday, it was 44 degrees.  By an hour later, it started snowing hard.
The biggest snowflakes.........gorgeous.
I totally missed that forecast.

Our "vegan snowman". Yup, a recycled fern plant. :0

5 more hours of this stuff. May accumulate to 4 inches in the mountains!
Can't wait until the morning to see the rest.

Sipping on my hot chocolate now by the wood stove with Abbie in my lap.
She is a laphugger for sure!!!

Here she is today as Mr. Darcy and I were watching the big snowflakes out the window.

Stay warm,
Jennifer

That snow is lovely! We haven't had such pretty snow yet this year, just lots of yucky stuff. lol!

  3. The snow looks beautiful. I'd guess my parents little cabin in Blairsville is getting snow too. I'm sure you're quite cozy - a little knitting and hot chocolate sounds divine!

  6. Great progress on your scarf. I'm sure you were glad of your wood stove to stay warm and were only looking out at the snowflakes.
