This week one of our Christmas parties my hubbie and I attended was the company party and I received a 5 year pin and certificate. I took a purse that my grandmother had and practically never used but it was so cute and vintage looking with my outfit. We danced a couple of hours and had a great catered meal and just had a good time.
What a lovely picture! Those Dutch plates are lovely by the way. The painting is so pretty - I love Vermeer. Who painted it? So nice.

my daughter painted that for my Christmas present 2005. She actually was an art major in college but recently changed to business. It was a total surprise that Christmas and I love it! That was one of her rare pieces of oil painting. She usually did pencil or watercolor.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is Dutch. Last name Dalenberg. His family is from South Holland Illinois, near Chicago. I love Dutchy stuff! The plates came from a Dutch shop in Helen, Ga. (North Ga. Alpine village town). I live close to Helen.
