After being drawn in the drama of the Casey Anthony trial for way too long now, my staycation is going to dedicate this pair of Ginghers in her memory. I've always loved "Ella" and this is the last pair, that is new and packaged for your opportunity to win and add to your collection. A leather sheath is accompaning this pair.
With the winner of this pair of Gingher's will be a designed sampler tucked in your package to stitch into a nice huswife, needlebook, or just for a pillowkeep sitting right besides your precious scissors.
You know the rules.......
1) must be a follower of this blog
2) international is welcome
3) one posting for one chance
4) a second posting for posting on your blog if you have one
5) and even a third chance for posting one blessing you can count in your life.
Simple.
Included will be my design for your new Ginghers. I will be stitching it soon for a model.
Good luck!!
All postings go here.
Such an emotional day, but something bright to add to your collection.
I love the Ella rotary as well.
The beginning starts now and ends in one month on Caylee's birthday, August 6th. at midnight.
Enjoy and good luck!!!
Jennifer
I follow your blog with Google Reader. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI count as a blessing that even on the darkest days, I never have to go through what the Anthony family go through. That poor little girl, may she rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to do it in honor of poor little Caylee who had no chance in life! Such a sweet little girl, her eyes have been begging the world for some justice...
There will be one final judge in our lives and that is our solace because this is a farce. Like O.J. Simpson's trial, this went out completely wrong.
Thanks for doing this. I let the scissor pass as I do have a lovely gold clad super sharp scissor from Toledo, Spain.
Lots of love,
Mariette
I just read about the outcome of the case and am a bit emotional about it as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely give away. Love the price but also the thoughts behind it.
And I would love to take part in it.
I am already a follower :)
2nd posting: posted on my blog about your give away
ReplyDelete3rd posting a blessing
ReplyDeleteYou know Jennifer, I can't really choose here. I feel very blessed. I'm happy married to the love of my life, we are all healthy (except my Father), I live in an area I love, in a house we built for us, we don't have any real worries, my daughters are doing well.
Jennifer what a nice thing to do to in honor of Caylee! I wanted to get my name in here as I love the scissors and I am so saddened and shocked at the failure of our justice system to give justice to Caylee Anthony! Casey is as guilty as anyone could ever be! I think I am in good company in thinking the way I do about all of the events of today's verdict!
ReplyDeleteMy second comment is about the best blessing that I have received in my life. The one that comes to mind is how my little sweet baby, Brandi, our Pekingese who lost the use of her back legs last summer, began to move her legs once again after 8 days. She is back to her self now and walking. In fact she is able to run and play with our other little dog Chuckie. It is a miracle and she and our family have been blessed by such a wonderful miracle as this! Even our Veteranarian cannot believe it and he too says she is very blessed as we are!
ReplyDeletePlease do enter me! I love Gingher scissors! That's a very pretty pair.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Veronica
P.S. I've been a Follower for a while now.
I've posted about your giveaway on the sidebar of my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm blessed to have loving friends and family.
ReplyDeleteAh, Jennifer, you are so generous. I am a fallower. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog, but as for a blessing, I am currently in the process of buying a house, which I am hugely thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI've been following that case too even I live on the other side of the globe. It's just too sad...
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower and this was the first time to visit your blog. I was shocked at the verdict yesterday. I just pray for peace and understanding in this verdict and I pray for peace and healing in the Anthony family. I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and we will celebrate our 29th anniversary on Oct. 15th. I am blessed to have two wonderful children. My son, serves his country in the United States Army and my daughter, works at the local hospital and is a full time student studying to be a nurse. Thank you for sharing and for giving me a chance to win.
Hugs,
Lynn
Oooh, I get to be first commenter. We watched the verdict being read at work today and I think everyone was very surprised by it. It's tough to know what to think of the jury's decision.
ReplyDeleteAs a mom myself, my life is so blessed by my two little girls.
I am a follower and this is a touching giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy blessing is my husband. There are so many things that I am grateful for being married to him. He is my rock, he grounds me and most of all he loves me unconditionally. I am thankful that over 36 years ago he came into my life and I was changed forever.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway. Please count me in.

Emotional is a kind word to describe my reaction. What a lovely gesture in her memory. Please include me. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pair of scissors for such a heart breaking event. Thank you for thinking of a way to keep Caley's memory alive. Please count me in, and add another chance for the blessing that is my wonderful daughter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway Jennifer. That poor baby girl! Bless her soul! My one blessing is my life, this includes everyone in it that makes it so amazing to be alive everyday. I am a follower and would love to have a chance at winning your scissors and stitchery. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi. I'd love to be included in your drawing.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to honor Caylee. That was just too sad.
A blessing in my life? My husband is the first that comes to mind. He's always there to support me when needed. My best friend.
Thanks, Jennifer.
I am completely saddened by this verdict :( There is no justice being served for this lovely little girl. Please count me in your Memorial Giveaway to honor this little one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtfull giveaway. thank you. I am a follower!
ReplyDeleteMy most precious blessing is my husband! thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe scissors are pretty, but I bet your sampler will be the best part of the give away. I would love to be included. I don't have a blog to post on, but I do have many blessings. In light of yesterday's verdict, I am most certainly blessed with a loving family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a kind, sweet giveaway. I'd like to be entered please.
ReplyDeleteI'm hosting a giveaway if anyone wants to drop by.
Great idea for a giveaway! I feel so disheartened about the verdict and what it says to young mothers. So I want to name my mother, Grenae, as a my blessing this morning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful give away. I too got caught up in the drama and am so disappointed.
ReplyDeleteTeresa's Heartfelt Stitches

Jennifer I would love a chance at your giveaway. I love the scissors what a unique pattern. I would love one of your beautiful patterns. Thanks for the chance~~
ReplyDeleteMy blessings in my life are 2 beautiful grandchilden and 5 children. I am so shocked at the verdict in the Anthony case. Justice will be served when she meets her maker. I don't know how she can sleep at night. If she didn't want Caylee I am sure someone out there could have given her a good home when there are so many that can't have a child.... I still can't believe the outcome.
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer .. have been following the case through you and am gutted at the result .... ... love mouse xxxxx
ReplyDeletemmm blessings apart from my lovely family would be the wonderful new friends and fellow stitcher's that I have met through the blogging world :)
ReplyDeletelove mouse xxxx

Please enter me here! I love Gingher scissors, but have never bought a pair. I am really sorry about what happened to Caylee she never had a chance at a real life.

ReplyDeleteI'm blessed to have been involved in my niece's life since she was born -- and now that she's 19, she acknowledges what an impact I had.
I'm also blessed to have a roof over my head, a car to drive, and food on the table... as well as two jobs to support those things.

I follow your blog. I am so happy that you decided to have a give away in honor of Little Caylee. She so deserved justice to be done. The day will come though that justice will be done and the person responsible will be judged. I love the scissors and love the chance to win them.
ReplyDeleteRest in Peace Little Caylee.
Take Care,
Susan
Dearest Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI am so blessed to have a wonderful husband of 33 years. He is the most wonderful friend and caring person. We have both been so in shock of the outcome of the Anthony trial. I just hope that one day the truth will be known for Caylee's sake. She is such a precious, innocent child taken from this world way to soon.
I love, love, your blog!
Susan

ReplyDeleteI have many blessings- but the one (two) that matters most are my two grandsons- they were taken from their mom for she was to wild-(in ways I won't mention), but the blessing of it was- my Brother-in-law and his wife took the kids into their home and adopted them, so they are still with family and we can watch them grow.

I posted this on my blog for a second chance.
ReplyDeleteMy blessings in my life would have to be first and foremost my family.
I certainly don't agree with the verdict in the Caylee Marie Anthony case, but I'm not really surprised at the outcome. I feel so sorry for Cindy and George and my heart goes out to them, as they lost the love of their lives.
ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful granddaughter, Allison, age 15, who is, has been, and always will be the love of my life and I am so very thankful for her.

My greatest blessing is my wonderful fiance - I thank God every day that He found him for me!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. I just love your blog and it has been a blessing to me!!
ReplyDeleteMy blessing is that I can still think of things the Lord has done for me each day even though I have just lost both my parents and now I am in the middle of a divorce. Things have been so unreal in my life the last few years, but each evening my daughter and I think of one thing the Lord did for us that day. This helps us look for those things blessings during the day that we are going to share with each other.
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful tribute to precious little Caylee is just wonderful. Every time I saw the photos of that darling child, with her gorgeous eyes, looking at us, all I could think, is how blessed we are for our own dear children. At least we know that she rests in peace.
I am a faithful follower of your blog, which always inspires me with every visit. Blessings to you, dear Jennifer.

ReplyDeleteIt is really difficult to think of just ONE blessing in my life. There are and continue to be abundant blessings every day....to numerous to count. I guess that I would have to say that I am blessed with a wonderful loving husband and father, beautiful children, who have are all well, happily married and now raising little ones of their own. Just to wake up each morning and know that I have been blessed with another brand new day in God's beautiful world is a blessing beyond any measure!
