Midnight Progress---slow with one over one

Not looking like alot tonight but just the teal part alone was 72 stitches.

I had to start adding another color to maintain my markings.

The pattern actually folds out quite large but this is supposed to be on a 4 x 5 design when finished.

The first time I actually used the tiny little major magnifing portion of the lamp. I almost had to look into it like a microscope. I put on those old reader glasses of +1.75 and the magnifying and counted. Thoughts of grabbing the colposcopy during lunch tomorrow popped into my mind as that magnifies alot for biopsies......we won't go there though......LOL

After my right eye started crossing (my lazy one), I had to stop on it tonight! : 0

What your colors could mean for your health

Taking a break, as Abbie is doing all sorts of things to get my attention now and as she takes a snooze break, I am reading about color and the effects of different colors.

What is your favorite color?  If you look at the chart and your favorite colors, do they jive with your personality?  Interesting to me as I stitch with beautiful colors. One site offers all colors of the spectum in glasses for therapy.......that is a new one for me. So, to just change your mood, stitch or wear that color pair of glasses for so many minutes. Some studies show wearing red lenses at night will increase melatonin at night 70%!  (no I didn't order a pair....LOL)

Well, break is over.......back to stitching.
Just some food for thought as we all LOVE colors. I love pinks and teals.

Monday Mail

Yep, Monday as usual as the alarm went off way too early at 6am. Back to work today.

No stitchy time at lunch as catching up for a week off was nearly impossible.

However, when I got home, the mail had a pleasant surprise with threads of the colors I ordered for a sampler I've had for quite some time and did not have the threads. I LOVE Crescent colors floss. The names are luscious. I also ordered Week's linen, Linen.  Yes, that is the color name, Linen.

Eye candy for me at the end of Monday work day.

Now I'm really in ADHD mode at which one to work on. Probably, just anything beside a stitching rut.

While I watch Nancy Grace and her crime fighting program tonight, I will work on ====

Ok, this one......no this one......uhhhhmmmm......maybe this one........really! I have several all started now and need to busy myself with at least one tonight.
