Finishing up on Christmas Day--A Christmas Heart sampler

A Christmas Heart progress ~~~ almost done but finishing tomorrow---hopefully. I went to my fabric pantry and found a fat quarter that would compliment this well. This has been a fun, simple sampler to design and stitch.

I have to admit as I was stitching the C D part instead of Charles Dickens, I thought of Christmas Day. ;)
Woops, it IS Christmas Day. This night owl is heading for bed, after a couple more Ginger cookies and some milk. Can't have Christmas Eve without baking cookies. They are yummmmmmy.

  10. Dearest Jennifer,

Thanks for Liking my FB Page!
You finished a perfect sampler with great quote to live by.
Got tired... short night in bed; late after Mass and early breakfast this morning to bake cookies (hearts) for a dear friend that had a knee replacement on Wednesday and got home yesterday evening (3 hour driving)... Did cooking for her and her husband and delivered the 'meals on wheels'. Made me happy. She took care of me last year January when I was paralyzed and came out of the hospital. One week of meals for me, made me feel overwhelmed. There are people with a BIG heart! Makes life worthwhile living.
Love to you and a continued Merry Christmas Season to you and your loved ones.
