The coldest morning this year has been when I looked out the window and everything had turned ice white - not with snow - with frost. Jack had surely been a visiting. Even the roads were white with it. Bitterly cold. I am glad it is starting to warm up a bit now.

ReplyDeleteI live in Claifornia about 30 miles south of San Fransisco. And while we don't get bone chilling temps or snow *thank god* I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio, we do get some cold temps.
This "winter" has been pretty mild.As well as the rest of the U.S I think the worst day we had was back in November. It was Rainy ALL day, which my dogs hate :( The sun didnt shine for the ENTIRE day and the temps never got above 40.
I have become spoiled by the weather here, but it can never be warm enough for me. If I do have a hankering for some SNOW. I can just take a quick 3 hour drive up north to Lake Tahoe. Though this year the snow levels are quite low.
Thanks again for a cool drawing. Good luck to me LOL
What pretty scissors! Count me in! Our coldest morning here this winter was somewhere in the teens. It has been mostly mild this winter, so I can't complain! I am ready for spring though!!
ReplyDeleteHere's sending spring wishes to you in your neck of the woods, I too have cabin fever. I would love a chance at winning those sharp beauties. I envision a beautiful orange scissor fob dangling from one of the handles. Sounds summery!!! Smiles......

ReplyDeleteThis winter has been pretty mild here in Southern CA. with very little rain. The coldest morning we have had was probably around 15 to 20 degrees F. I have had to cover my plants on the patio at night and the water in the bird bath was definitely frozen there for awhile.

ReplyDeleteHere in North Central Illinois, it's been a mild winter. Our coldest morning was last month with a temp of 3 above zero. It didn't last long though.
ReplyDeletePlease include me in your scissors give away! I'm already a follower. Years ago I opened the back door to see a raccoon right on the back step. Thank goodness for the storm door! I slammed the door shut before my dog could see it & go crazy. A 'possum & a raccoon in the same week would definitely freak me out. I don't have a blog so here's my email: ladybug8@bellsouth.net
ReplyDeleteI can understand the cabin fever. I do not like the winter. I am a follower for a long time. Thank you for a chance to win. Your furbaby always looks cute.

This has been a crazy warm winter here in Indiana. I think we've had lows in the lower twenties just a couple of times, and I'm not sure we've gotten below that at all!
ReplyDeleteToday it was something like 50 degrees! I'm dreading this summer when all the bugs that weren't killed by a hard freeze are driving me batty.

ReplyDeleteWell, here in South-western Ontario, Canada we've had a pretty "mild" winter here compared to last year. I've only had to really bundle up while walking the dog only a few times (so far) this winter. I don't really pay that much attention to the actual temperature outside, so unfortunately I can't give you a number.
ReplyDeleteI've sent you a picture of one of your freebies that I stitched :^)
ReplyDeleteEntry No 1 - I've been a follower for a while and love these scissors, it's quite hard to get nice unusual scissors in the UK.
