The Thomas Sampler

The Thomas Sampler

designed by Feathers in the Nest

copyright 2010

suggested colors are:

Crescent colors cotton:   Black coffee and Pumpkin Harvest in border

Crescent colors cotton:  Fallen Leaves, Snowball, and Queen Bee for the Mums

DMC 310 black  for part of the letters, the cat, the pumpkin

I hope you enjoy this little one for Halloween.

Although Thomas, our cat, is not black, he certainly is a part of our pack here at the homestead and so, I designed a sampler for him with his initial T at the end.

He says "Spooky Halloween" to all MUMS (moms) as he thinks his mum is the coolest!

Thank you for all the comments! They do mean alot to me.

  2. Hi Jennifer: I want to thank you for stopping into my blog and for your comment! I am so glad you like my frame! I am shocked that my dh would make me this stand and I just totally love it so much and love him even more!! You are very talented lady and I love your designs here too! My dh does want to try and make these to sell but isn't sure yet what to charge. I think he is going to set up an Etsy Store and see what he can do. He just loves doing woodworking. This is the first stand he has made and I just love mine. I have been stitching on it for a couple of days and it is so nice!! From the looks of your blog, I plan to become a regular visitor here! :)))

  3. Love the colors in Thomas'Halloween! I wondered if you have considered making your 'Forever Hope' into a pillow or wall hanging, thus cutting down on the framing/shipping cost? Just a thought! It is a lovely and well thought out piece.
    Best to you always....
