Here is the finished Spring Rain freebie by The Sampler Girl on her blog At The Honeysuckle Tree. I decided not to coffee stain it because I thought that the blue may darken too much. I substituted the blue for overdyed threads I had in my stash. I like the overdyed effect as the water.

Here is the finished Spring Rain freebie by The Sampler Girl on her blog At The Honeysuckle Tree. I decided not to coffee stain it because I thought that the blue may darken too much. I substituted the blue for overdyed threads I had in my stash. I like the overdyed effect as the water.
I think that your picture is very cute and I like the use of the overdyed threads. Gives the little piece texture!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I didn't have the blue color that the pattern called for so I substituted one of the overdyeds I had in my stash and after it was done, I really liked the effect better on the water.
